Search Engine Optimization

SEO Judged on Enquiries, Not Just Rankings

Technical fixes, on-page work, content, and earned links — aimed at the searches where somebody is ready to buy, and reported against the leads your business actually received.

  • Commercial-intent keywords first
  • No bought links, no PBNs
  • Month-to-month engagement
Scope

The Five Things SEO Actually Consists Of

Most proposals hide the work behind the word optimization. Here it is, split the way we plan and report it every month.

Technical SEO

Making sure search engines can crawl, render, and index every page you want found — and that those pages load fast enough on an average Indian mobile connection to keep the visitor there.

On-Page SEO

Titles, headings, body copy, internal links, image handling, and schema on the pages that matter. One clear target search per page, written for a reader first and a crawler second.

Content

Service pages, comparison pages, and articles built from the questions buyers ask before they spend money — plus refreshing pages that have slipped, instead of publishing new ones for the sake of volume.

Off-Page & Links

Earning mentions from sites a real person in your industry would recognise: trade bodies, suppliers, regional press, partners, and resources worth citing. Slow on purpose.

Local Signals

Google Business Profile, consistent name-address-phone data, and location pages so you appear in the map pack as well as the blue links. Covered in depth on our Local SEO page.

Measurement

Rank tracking on the agreed keyword set, Search Console and GA4 configured properly, and conversion tracking so an organic visit that turns into an enquiry is counted as one.

Keyword Research

We Choose Keywords by Intent, Not by Search Volume

A term with twelve thousand monthly searches that brings students, job seekers, and window shoppers is worth less than a term with two hundred searches from people comparing two vendors and asking about price. We start from what a customer is worth to you and work backwards: which searches does a paying customer type in the week they decide?

Every candidate keyword is checked against the results page it has to compete on. If the top ten are all national marketplaces and aggregators, we say so, and look for the version of that query a business your size can realistically win — usually a service plus a city, a specific product variant, or the problem phrased the way a customer phrases it rather than the way the industry does.

Priority — Buying Intent

  • Service plus city, area, or landmark
  • Price, cost, charges, and near-me queries
  • Brand-versus-brand comparisons
  • Specific product, model, or variant names

Secondary — Research Intent

  • How to choose, what to look for
  • Problem-first questions asked before a purchase
  • Requirement and specification queries
  • Terms that build a remarketing audience worth having

Usually Skipped

  • High-volume terms with no commercial signal
  • Job, salary, course, and free-download queries
  • Head terms owned entirely by marketplaces
  • Vanity terms nobody would ever search first
Technical Audit

What We Check Before Writing a Single Page

The audit runs in the first two weeks. Content work waits until the blockers are cleared, because pages Google cannot index properly are wasted budget.

Crawling & Indexing

  • robots.txt and XML sitemap accuracy
  • Pages blocked or noindexed by accident
  • Duplicate and thin pages competing with each other
  • Canonical tags and URL parameter handling
  • Redirect chains and broken internal links

Speed & Core Web Vitals

  • Largest Contentful Paint on 4G mobile, not desktop fibre
  • Oversized and uncompressed images
  • Render-blocking scripts and unused plugins
  • Layout shift from banners and late-loading fonts
  • Hosting, caching, and server response times

Structure & Internal Links

  • URL structure and click depth from the homepage
  • One page per intent, no keyword cannibalisation
  • Internal links pointing at the money pages
  • Navigation and breadcrumb consistency
  • Orphan pages that nothing links to

Mobile & Usability

  • Real behaviour on small screens, not just a green score
  • Tap targets, form length, and click-to-call links
  • Pop-ups and interstitials that bury the content
  • Whether prices, hours, and contact details are findable

Structured Data

  • Organization, LocalBusiness, and Service markup
  • FAQ, Breadcrumb, and Product markup where it applies
  • Validation errors already flagged in Search Console
  • Markup that matches what is actually on the page

Risk & Hygiene

  • HTTPS, mixed content, and expiring certificates
  • Spammy backlinks inherited from a previous agency
  • Hacked pages and injected outbound links
  • Manual actions or security issues in Search Console
  • Analytics that has quietly been broken for months
Content Approach

How Pages Get Planned, Written, and Linked

SEO content is not a word count. Each page exists to answer one search properly and give the reader an obvious next step.

01

Map the Topics

Keywords are grouped into clusters and each cluster is assigned to exactly one page, so two of your own pages never end up fighting for the same search.

02

Brief Before Writing

Every page gets a brief: the target search, who is reading, what the current top results cover, what they miss, and what this page must include to be more useful than them.

03

Write and Review

Drafts are written for a buyer, edited by us, then sent to you for a factual check — you know your pricing, service area, and compliance limits better than we do.

04

Publish and Link

New pages get internal links from relevant existing pages on day one, are submitted for indexing, and join the tracked keyword set so we can see what they do.

More on briefs, editorial review, and refreshing older posts is on our content marketing page.

Link Building

Our Position on Links, Stated Plainly

Links still matter. How you get them decides whether the gain lasts, or becomes a problem you pay somebody to clean up two years later.

What We Do

  • Industry bodies, associations, and chamber listings
  • Supplier, dealer, partner, and client pages that already mention you
  • Regional and trade press when there is something genuinely newsworthy
  • Reference content other people in your field want to cite
  • Reclaiming unlinked brand mentions and repairing broken inbound links

What We Will Not Do

  • Buy links, or rent them monthly from a broker
  • Use private blog networks or expired-domain schemes
  • Blast your URL into hundreds of directories nobody reads
  • Place guest posts on sites that exist only to sell guest posts
  • Promise a fixed number of links a month as the headline deliverable

If you have inherited a spammy backlink profile, the first job is usually removal and disavow rather than acquisition. We will tell you that during the free review.

First 90 Days

What Actually Happens After You Start

No three months of silence followed by a spreadsheet. Here is the sequence, and what you see at each point.

Days 1–7 — Access and Baseline

We take access to Search Console, Analytics, and the website, fix or install GA4 conversion tracking, and record where you stand today: current rankings, indexed pages, organic enquiries, and which pages already earn them. Everything after this is measured against that baseline.

Days 8–21 — Audit and Keyword Set

The full technical audit runs and we agree the tracked keyword list with you — usually a mix of city-level commercial terms, service terms, and long-tail questions. You get the audit as a plain-language document with issues ranked by impact, not a ninety-page automated export.

Days 22–45 — Fixes and On-Page Work

Blocking technical issues get fixed first, then the money pages get rewritten titles, headings, copy, schema, and internal links. This is often where the first visible movement appears, because existing pages finally match the searches they were always closest to.

Days 46–70 — New Content and Local Signals

The first batch of new pages goes live against the priority clusters. In parallel, Google Business Profile, citations, and location pages are cleaned up if local search matters for your business.

Days 71–90 — Links, Review, and Next Quarter

Outreach starts on the content that deserves links, and we review the quarter together: what moved, what did not, and what we are changing. You get a written plan for the next three months before deciding whether to carry on.

Timelines

How Long SEO Realistically Takes

Typical ranges from our experience, not guarantees. Competition, domain history, and how neglected the site was all move them.

6–10 Weeks

Low-competition local and long-tail terms, plus pages that were technically prevented from ranking at all. Quick because the fix is mechanical rather than competitive.

3–6 Months

Meaningful movement on competitive city-level commercial terms — the searches most clients actually care about. This is the window to judge the work on.

6–12 Months

National head terms in crowded categories, or a domain starting from almost no authority. If your targets sit here, we say so before you spend anything.

If you need enquiries this month rather than this quarter, run Google Ads alongside SEO and rebalance the budget as organic matures.

Every Month

What You Get, Month After Month

The volumes depend on the plan you choose, but the shape of the month stays the same.

The Work

  • An agreed number of new or rewritten pages
  • Technical fixes worked through a live issue backlog
  • Internal linking and on-page refinement
  • Link and mention outreach where there is something to pitch
  • Google Business Profile upkeep for local clients

The Reporting

  • Ranking movement across the tracked keyword set
  • Organic sessions, and the enquiries they produced
  • Which pages and queries are earning those leads
  • What we did this month, in plain language
  • What we are doing next, and the reasoning behind it

Measurement

Rankings Are the Input. Leads Are the Result.

We track rankings because they tell us whether the work is landing, and we report them honestly, including the ones that moved the wrong way. But nobody pays salaries with position four. So every report also carries organic enquiries: forms, calls, and WhatsApp messages that began with a search.

Traffic on its own is the easiest number to inflate and the least useful one to act on. A month where sessions fell but qualified enquiries rose is a good month, and we will say so rather than bury it under a bigger-looking chart.

FAQ

SEO Questions We Get Asked Most

How long before SEO starts working?

Low-competition local and long-tail terms often move within 6–10 weeks. Competitive city-level commercial terms usually take 3–6 months for meaningful movement, and national head terms can take longer. Technical fixes sometimes show up faster, because pages that were never being indexed properly start appearing at all.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and we would be careful with anyone who does. Nobody controls the ranking algorithm. What we commit to is a defined scope of work each month, visible reporting on the keywords we agreed to target, and an honest call if a target looks unrealistic for your budget or domain.

Do you buy links or use PBNs?

No. We do not buy links, use private blog networks, or push your site into spam directories. Links are earned through useful content, industry and association listings, supplier and partner pages, and relevant regional press. It is slower, and it does not put your domain at risk.

Can you do SEO if my site is on Wix, Shopify, or WordPress?

Yes. We work with whatever platform you are on and tell you honestly where it limits us. WordPress and Shopify give us the most control. Some site builders restrict redirects, schema, or page speed, and in those cases we flag the ceiling before you commit budget.

Is SEO better than Google Ads?

They do different jobs. Ads buy visibility immediately and stop the day you stop paying. SEO compounds but takes months to build. Many clients run ads for enquiries now while SEO matures, then rebalance the budget once organic produces leads on its own.
