FAQ

Questions Businesses Ask Us Before Signing Anything

Scope, timelines, billing, and what happens if it does not work — answered the way we would answer them on a call, including the answers that are not flattering to us.

Getting Started

Starting an Engagement

What the first conversation looks like, what we need from you, and how long setup takes.

What does the free marketing review actually cover?

We go through your website, your Google Business Profile, any Google or Meta ad accounts you are running, your analytics setup, and what your competitors are doing for the same searches in your city. You get back a short written summary: where visitors are dropping off before they enquire, which keywords you could realistically compete for, obvious waste in any live ad account, and whether your conversions are being tracked at all. It takes us a few days and it costs nothing. There is no obligation to hire us afterwards, and we will tell you if we think you do not need an agency yet.

How quickly can we start?

Usually within a week of agreeing the scope. The first few days go into access, tracking, and a baseline: we need admin on the accounts, we set up or repair conversion tracking, and we write down where you are starting from so month three has something honest to be compared against. Paid campaigns can often go live in the first week or two. SEO and content work starts immediately but by its nature shows up later.

What do you need from me to get going?

Admin access to your website, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and any ad accounts. A card on your own Google Ads and Meta billing accounts if we are running paid. Your logo files and any brand guidelines. Most importantly, thirty minutes of your time to explain what you actually sell, what a good customer looks like, and what a bad lead looks like. That last conversation shapes everything else.

Do I need to already have a website and ad accounts?

A website, yes, in almost every case, because paid traffic with nowhere good to land is money wasted. It does not need to be beautiful, but it does need to load, work on a phone, and let someone contact you easily. Ad accounts we can create for you if they do not exist, always in your name and under your own billing. If your site is the real bottleneck we will say so before taking a retainer to send traffic to it.

Services & Scope

What Is and Is Not Included

Which channels you can take on their own, who produces the work, and how far the scope stretches.

Can I pick just one channel instead of everything?

Yes. Every service is available on its own, and the Starter plan is built exactly for that. Many businesses begin with one channel, prove it works, and add another once the numbers justify it. We will usually recommend which single channel to start with rather than letting you spread a small budget across four. One channel run properly beats three run thinly.

Do you build websites?

Landing pages, yes, and they are included in the Growth and Full-Funnel plans because paid campaigns need them. A full website build or redesign is a separate scoped project rather than part of a monthly retainer, quoted on its own. On-page fixes to your existing site, such as titles, structure, speed issues, and content updates, are part of the SEO work and do not need a separate quote.

Do you write the content, or do I?

We write it. Blog posts, landing page copy, ad copy, and social captions are produced by us, briefed from your subject knowledge and reviewed by you before anything is published. Nothing goes live without your approval. If you already have an in-house writer, we will brief and edit instead of writing from scratch, and the retainer comes down accordingly.

Do you handle regional languages?

Yes. We regularly run campaigns and content in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu alongside English, and we treat them as properly written copy rather than machine translation of the English version. Which languages make sense depends on where your customers are and how they search. For many local businesses a Hindi or regional ad set outperforms the English one, which is something the free review can usually indicate from your existing search data.

Do you work with businesses outside the big metros?

Yes. Everything we do is delivered remotely, so we work with businesses anywhere in India. Tier two and tier three cities are often easier to win in, because competition for local search is lighter and cost per click is lower. The trade-off is lower search volume, which usually means local SEO and Google Business Profile work earns its keep faster than broad paid campaigns do.

Results & Timelines

What to Expect, and When

Including the two questions every agency should be asked and few answer straight.

How soon will I see results?

Paid ads typically show usable signal within the first two to four weeks, and meaningful optimisation from about week six once there is enough conversion data. Organic SEO takes longer, usually three to six months for meaningful ranking movement and longer in competitive categories. Local SEO sits in between: profile and review work can shift map visibility within weeks. Anyone quoting faster than this for SEO is either guessing or targeting keywords nobody searches.

What is a realistic outcome in the first six months?

Realistically: conversion tracking that works, a clear picture of which channel produces enquiries and at what cost, a lower cost per qualified lead than you started with, and steady growth in organic visibility for terms with buying intent. What we will not promise is a specific multiple of your revenue. The honest ranges depend on your category, your budget, your website, and how fast your team follows up on leads, and we set those expectations in writing during the review rather than in a sales pitch.

Do you guarantee first-page Google rankings?

No, and neither can anyone else. Google does not sell or promise positions, rankings differ by location and by the person searching, and the algorithm changes constantly. Any agency guaranteeing a number one position is either targeting keywords with no competition and no buyers, or is going to blame something else when it does not happen. What we will commit to is the work: the technical fixes, the content, the link and citation effort, and an honest monthly report on where positions actually moved.

What happens if it does not work?

We tell you, in the monthly report, with the numbers attached. Sometimes a channel is wrong for a business and the right answer is to stop spending on it. Because the engagement is month-to-month you are never trapped in something that is not working, and we would rather lose a channel than lose your trust by hiding a bad month. If the whole approach is not delivering after a fair run, we will say so and help you exit cleanly.

Why do results sometimes look worse before they get better?

Because honest measurement usually makes early numbers look worse. Separating retargeting from prospecting stops retargeting taking credit for repeat buyers, so the reported return drops. Qualifying a form properly reduces total enquiry count while improving how many are worth calling. Moving the target from form fills to booked appointments raises cost per lead on purpose. We flag these in advance so a predictable dip is never a surprise in month two.

Pricing & Contracts

Money, Tax, and Getting Out

The commercial terms in full. Indicative figures live on the pricing page.

How does billing work?

We invoice the monthly retainer at the start of the month, before that month of work is done, payable by bank transfer or UPI within seven days. The retainer covers our work: strategy, setup, campaign management, content production, and reporting. Add-ons outside the agreed scope are quoted and approved separately before anything begins, so no unexpected line item can appear on an invoice.

Is ad spend included in your fees?

No. Advertising budget is completely separate and is paid by you directly to Google and Meta from your own billing account. We never mark up media and never take a percentage of spend, which means we have no incentive to push your budget higher than it should be. You see the platform invoices yourself, in your own name, alongside our management fee.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. Engagements are month-to-month with no twelve-month tie-in and no exit penalty. We think long contracts exist to protect agencies from the consequences of weak work. Ours means we have to justify the retainer in every monthly report, which is the right pressure to be under.

How do I cancel, and what happens to my accounts?

Tell us before your next billing date and the engagement ends at the close of the month you have already paid for. Within five working days we remove our users and hand over full admin on every account, along with your reports, content files, tracking documentation, and campaign structures. Everything was in your name from day one, so there is nothing for us to hold back and nothing for you to rebuild.

Is GST extra?

Yes. Every price we quote is exclusive of tax, and GST at the prevailing rate, currently 18 percent, is added on the invoice. If your business is GST-registered you can normally claim it as input credit, so the effective cost stays at the quoted figure. We issue a proper GST invoice each month showing our GSTIN and the tax as a separate line.

Reporting & Access

What You See, and What You Own

How the monthly report is built, how often we speak, and why every account stays in your name.

What is in the monthly report?

It opens with qualified leads by channel and cost per lead, not with impressions. Then: spend against budget, what changed in performance versus the previous month, the specific work we did and what it produced, the tests that failed as well as the ones that worked, and a ranked list of what we intend to do next and why in that order. It is written to be read by an owner in ten minutes, not by a marketing specialist in an hour.

Who owns the ad accounts, website, and data?

You do, always. Ad accounts, analytics properties, Search Console, your Google Business Profile, the domain, and the website are created in your name with you as the owner and us added as users. That is deliberate: it means you can remove us at any time and lose nothing. Historical performance data, creatives, and content we produce remain yours after the engagement ends.

How often will we actually talk?

On the Starter plan, a monthly call to walk through the report. On Growth, a fortnightly call plus a shared WhatsApp group for quick questions during the week. On Full-Funnel, weekly working sessions with your dedicated strategist and a quarterly strategy review that includes your sales team, not only your marketing contact. Email is answered within one business day on every plan.

Can I see the data myself between reports?

Yes. You have owner access to every account, so nothing is filtered through us. On Growth and Full-Funnel we also build a live dashboard you can open any day of the month, showing leads, spend, and cost per lead by channel without waiting for report day. We would rather you looked whenever you want than only see numbers we chose to present.
