Local SEO

Be the Business That Shows Up on the Map

For shops, clinics, studios, showrooms, and service businesses that earn their money from one city or region — and need to appear when somebody nearby searches with their phone in their hand.

  • Map pack and near-me searches
  • Calls and WhatsApp enquiries counted
  • Single location or many branches
The Difference

Why Local Search Is Its Own Discipline

National SEO fights for the blue links. Local search puts a map above them, and that map is ranked on three things your website alone cannot fix.

Proximity

How close you are to the person searching. You cannot change your address, but you can make sure Google has the right one, with the right service area, and that the nearby searches you can realistically win are the ones we target.

Relevance

How well your profile and site match what was typed. Primary category, secondary categories, services listed individually, and a website that names the same services in the same words all feed this.

Prominence

How well known you look to Google: review volume, ratings, recency, mentions of your name and address across the web, and links from local sources. This is the part that takes consistent monthly work.

Local work sits on top of the technical and on-page foundation covered in our SEO services. If the site itself is broken, the map listing can only carry you so far.

Google Business Profile

Your Profile Is the Shopfront Most Customers See First

Plenty of people never reach your website at all. They see the listing, read two reviews, look at a photo, and either tap call or tap the next business. We treat the profile as a page that needs the same care as a landing page, not a form you fill once and forget.

That starts with the unglamorous part: claiming and verifying the listing, picking the primary category correctly (it is the single biggest lever most businesses get wrong), listing every service separately, and making the hours, holiday timings, and phone number match reality.

Set Up Properly

  • Claim, verify, and secure ownership access
  • Primary and secondary categories chosen against competitors
  • Every service listed with its own short description
  • Service area, pin codes, and landmarks defined
  • Attributes that matter locally: parking, payments, accessibility

Kept Alive Monthly

  • Posts for offers, events, and festival timings
  • New photos from the actual premises and work
  • Questions and answers seeded and monitored
  • Products or menu items updated when prices change
  • Hours corrected before every public holiday

Protected

  • Duplicate listings found and merged or removed
  • Unauthorised edits to your address or hours reverted
  • Suspension risks flagged before they cost you visibility
  • Competitor listings reported when they are clearly fake
  • Call and message routing checked so nothing goes unanswered
Citations & NAP

One Name, One Address, One Number — Everywhere

Google cross-checks your details against the rest of the web. Three versions of your address across five directories is a confidence problem, and it quietly caps how high you can rank.

What We Audit

  • Every listing your business already has, claimed or not
  • Old addresses left behind after a move
  • Numbers that ring a phone nobody uses now
  • Name variations: with and without Pvt Ltd, branch suffixes
  • Listings created by staff or a previous agency

Where We List You

  • Justdial, Sulekha, IndiaMART where they suit your trade
  • Apple Maps, Bing Places, and other map providers
  • Industry platforms: clinics, education, real estate, hospitality
  • City, market association, and trade body directories
  • Chamber of commerce and supplier listings

How We Keep It Straight

  • One master record of your exact details, agreed with you
  • The same formatting on every platform, down to the comma
  • LocalBusiness schema on the site matching that record
  • A tracked-number policy that will not confuse the citations
  • Re-check after any move, rebrand, or number change
Reviews

Getting Reviews Without Begging or Buying

Reviews influence both your ranking and whether somebody taps call. The goal is a steady, genuine flow — not a burst of twenty in one week that looks exactly like what it is.

01

Ask at the Right Moment

Right after the job is done and the customer is happy, not three weeks later in a bulk email. We work out that moment for your business and build the request into it.

02

Make It One Tap

A short review link sent over WhatsApp or SMS, plus a printed QR at the counter or in the bill folder. Every extra step between the ask and the form loses most people.

03

Reply to Every Review

Good ones get a short, human thank-you. Bad ones get a calm, specific reply that a future customer will read as the mark of a business that fixes things.

04

Use What They Say

Recurring phrases in reviews are free keyword research and free copy. They go into your location pages, your profile services, and your ad text.

We do not write fake reviews, buy them, or set up review-gating that hides unhappy customers. Beyond being against Google policy, it is the fastest way to lose a listing you depend on.

Location Pages

Pages for the Areas You Actually Serve

A location page earns its place when somebody in that area would find it useful. Twenty near-identical pages with the city name swapped are a doorway tactic, and they are treated like one.

What Goes On One

  • Directions people recognise: landmarks, roads, nearby areas
  • Which services that branch or team genuinely offers
  • Local proof: work done in that area, reviews from those customers
  • The right phone number, hours, and an embedded map
  • LocalBusiness schema matching the profile exactly

What We Avoid

  • The same paragraph repeated with the city name swapped
  • Pages for areas you cannot actually reach or service
  • Lists of two hundred pin codes stuffed into the footer
  • Virtual offices or a relative address used to fake proximity
  • Location pages that ignore the main service page and cannibalise it
Multiple Branches

How We Handle More Than One Location

Multi-location businesses usually have the same three problems. The order of the fix matters.

Clean Up What Exists

Almost every multi-branch business has duplicate, unclaimed, or half-abandoned listings created by staff, franchisees, or a previous agency. These get found, merged, or removed first, because nothing else works while two listings for the same shop compete with each other.

One Profile Per Real Location

Each branch gets its own verified profile with its own phone number, hours, photos, and manager access — all under one account structure so you keep control if a branch manager leaves.

One Page Per Real Location

Each branch gets a page written about that branch, linked from a locations index and from the relevant service pages. Branch pages carry their own schema and their own reviews.

Reviews and Reporting Split by Branch

Review requests are routed to the right listing, and the monthly report breaks calls, direction requests, and enquiries down per branch — so you can see which location needs attention rather than an average that hides it.

India Context

What Local Search Looks Like Here

Advice written for a business in Ohio does not transfer cleanly. A few things change how we work.

Vernacular and Hinglish

Plenty of searches are typed in Roman-script Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, or a mix, and spoken voice searches even more so. We check which spellings and mixed-language phrases your customers actually use, rather than assuming clean English keywords.

WhatsApp Is the Enquiry

Many customers will not fill a form or wait on a call. We put WhatsApp where they are looking — profile, location pages, click-to-chat links — and make sure those chats are counted as leads instead of vanishing into a personal phone.

Festival and Season Timings

Holiday hours, Diwali and Eid trading, wedding season, exam season, monsoon slowdowns. Profile hours and posts are updated around the calendar your customers live by, not a generic one.

Landmarks Over Addresses

People navigate by landmark, road, and area name far more than by pin code. Those are the terms that go into your profile description, location pages, and the way we phrase directions.

Regional Directories Still Pull

Justdial, Sulekha, IndiaMART, and trade-specific platforms still send real enquiries in many categories, and they feed citation consistency. We treat them as lead sources to be measured, not boxes to tick.

Mobile, and Usually Slow Mobile

Most local searches here happen on a mid-range phone on a patchy connection. Pages are built to be usable at that speed, with the phone number and directions reachable without waiting for anything heavy to load.

Measurement

Calls, Directions, and Chats — Not Profile Views

Profile views are the local equivalent of impressions. The numbers we report are the ones that mean somebody decided to act: calls from the listing, direction requests, website taps, WhatsApp chats, and form fills from local pages. Map visibility is tracked across a grid of points around your area, so you can see where you rank strongly and where you drop off a few kilometres away.

Local results also move around by device and by exactly where the searcher is standing, which is why we never build a report around one screenshot of one search. It is trend across the grid, and enquiries at the end of it, that tell you whether the work is paying.

FAQ

Local SEO Questions

How is local SEO different from regular SEO?

National SEO competes for the blue links. Local SEO also competes for the map pack, which is ranked mostly on proximity, relevance, and prominence rather than on your website alone. That means your Google Business Profile, your address data across the web, and your reviews matter as much as the pages on your site.

Can I rank in a city where I have no office?

You can rank in organic results and on a location page for that city, but the map pack needs a real, verifiable presence. We will not create fake addresses or rent a virtual office to game it. If you serve a city you cannot list an address in, we target it through service-area settings, location pages, and paid search instead.

How many reviews do I need?

There is no magic number. What matters is being credible against the businesses you actually compete with in your area, a steady flow rather than twenty reviews in one week, recent dates, and replies from you. We set up the asking process; the reviews themselves have to be genuine.

Do you handle businesses with several branches?

Yes. Each branch gets its own Google Business Profile, its own location page with genuinely different content, its own local citations, and its own review flow. We also fix the duplicate and unclaimed listings that multi-location businesses almost always have sitting on the map.

How long does local SEO take to show results?

Faster than national SEO. Profile fixes and category changes can shift map visibility within 4–8 weeks in less competitive areas. Dense, competitive city centres take longer, usually 3–6 months, and reviews and citations keep compounding after that.
