Marketing Looks Different in Every Sector
The same six services, arranged differently. A clinic and a D2C brand both need enquiries, but almost nothing about the channel mix, the buying cycle, or the rules they advertise under is the same.
What the Work Actually Involves
For each sector: the channel that usually earns its budget first, how long the buying decision really takes, and the constraint that catches people out.
Real Estate
- Generating leads is the easy part. Filtering them is the job, because a form fill from someone browsing dream homes costs the same as one from a funded buyer
- Usually starts with: Meta lead ads on locality and project terms, plus Google Search for people typing a specific project name
- Buying cycle: weeks to many months, with a site visit as the real conversion — so remarketing and follow-up sequences matter more than raw lead count
- The constraint: report on site visits booked and cost per visit, not form fills, or the numbers will look wonderful while nothing sells
Retail & D2C Ecommerce
- Creative volume is the engine. Accounts here stall because the ads went stale, not because the budget ran out
- Usually starts with: Meta and Instagram for demand creation alongside Google Shopping and Performance Max, with a clean, complete product feed underneath
- Buying cycle: same session for impulse categories, two or three visits for anything over a few thousand rupees
- The constraint: you need a steady supply of new creative every month and first-order margin that can absorb acquisition cost. Returns and cancelled cash-on-delivery orders quietly erode the ROAS the platform reports
Healthcare & Clinics
- Proximity and trust decide it. A complete Google Business Profile with recent reviews often does more work than the ad account
- Usually starts with: local SEO, profile and listing cleanup, and a routine for asking satisfied patients for reviews, then tightly geofenced search ads
- Buying cycle: same day for anything urgent, weeks of quiet research for elective and planned procedures
- The constraint: advertising rules. Platforms restrict health claims, outcome promises and personalised targeting, so the content has to educate rather than guarantee, and patient details can never appear in creative
Education & Coaching
- Intake-driven. Demand spikes hard around admission and exam windows, and the months in between are for building an audience you can convert later
- Usually starts with: search ads on course, exam and location terms, plus content answering the fee, syllabus, faculty and placement questions parents actually ask
- Buying cycle: seasonal, and decided jointly — the student shortlists, the parent approves, and a counsellor call sits between the enquiry and the admission
- The constraint: the calendar is fixed. Miss the admission window and no amount of budget buys it back, so campaigns and content have to be built weeks ahead of the intake
Professional Services
- CA, legal and consulting practices run on low volume and high value — one right-fit enquiry a week can make the month
- Usually starts with: SEO and content on specific problem queries, compliance deadlines and how-to questions, plus a site and LinkedIn presence that survive a credibility check
- Buying cycle: urgent when a deadline or notice forces it, otherwise months of quiet comparison and a referral check
- The constraint: several professional bodies restrict advertising and solicitation, so the work leans on educational visibility rather than promotional claims. We keep copy conservative and have you review it
Hospitality & Restaurants
- Discovery is visual, local and immediate. Maps, photographs and recent reviews bring people in; the website mostly confirms the decision
- Usually starts with: Google Business Profile with current photos, menu and timings, a review routine, and Instagram, with paid reserved for events, offers and festival occasions
- Buying cycle: minutes to hours. People decide on the way, which is why profile accuracy beats almost everything else
- The constraint: demand is occasion-led and moves with weather, festivals and long weekends, so spend has to follow the calendar. The metric is covers and orders, never follower count
Manufacturing & B2B
- A small number of buyers who know exactly what they need. The website is a credibility check before someone picks up the phone
- Usually starts with: SEO on product, specification and application terms, paid search on the same narrow list, and LinkedIn to reach the people who write the specs
- Buying cycle: long, with several stakeholders and a decision that finishes offline. A quotation request is the conversion; the order lands months later
- The constraint: search volume is tiny and clicks are expensive, so monthly lead counts stay small. Judge it on pipeline value, and have sales tell us which enquiries were genuine so we can optimise toward them
Home Services
- Urgency and radius. Whoever answers first usually wins the job, so marketing performance and phone discipline are the same problem
- Usually starts with: local search ads and Google Business Profile, with call tracking from day one because most enquiries arrive as a call or a WhatsApp message
- Buying cycle: same day to a week, with sharp seasonal peaks — monsoon repairs, summer cooling, pre-festival deep cleaning
- The constraint: response time is the real conversion rate. A missed call is a lost job, and the job value has to cover acquisition cost on its own or through repeat work

Anywhere in India, Remotely
We are not a walk-in agency, and we do not pretend to have offices in twelve cities. Everything happens over calls, email and WhatsApp, which is why we can work with a manufacturer in Rajkot, a clinic in Coimbatore, and a D2C brand in Delhi in the same week.
Location matters for the campaign, not for the working relationship. We build the geographic targeting, the language, and the seasonal calendar around your market — and tier 2 and tier 3 cities are frequently cheaper to advertise in and far less contested in search than the metros.
How we work with remote clientsThree Things That Cut Across Every Sector Here
Playbooks written for other markets tend to miss these, and they change how a campaign is built.
Language Mixing
People search in English, type Hindi in Roman script, and read ads in whichever reaches them first. Keyword lists and ad copy have to account for all three, not just the clean English version.
The Festival Calendar
Demand and ad costs both move with the festival and wedding seasons, exam dates, and the financial year end. Budgets planned evenly across twelve months leave money on the table in the weeks that matter.
Calls and WhatsApp
A large share of Indian enquiries never touch a web form. If calls and WhatsApp clicks are not tracked as conversions, most of your marketing looks like it failed when it did not.
What Does Not Change From Sector to Sector
The channel mix is industry-specific. The measurement discipline underneath it is identical, and it is the part that decides whether the spending was worth it.
Tracking Before Spending
GA4 conversions, call tracking, and form events are configured and tested before any campaign goes live. Nothing runs blind.
One Scoreboard
Cost per qualified enquiry, by channel, every month. Sectors differ in what a good number looks like, not in whether we report it.
Feedback From Sales
You tell us which enquiries were real. Without that, we are optimising toward form fills instead of customers, and the two are not the same.
Monthly Reallocation
Budget moves toward whatever produced enquiries and away from whatever did not. The review call exists so that decision is made with you, not for you.
Being Honest About Where We Help Most
Good Fit
Where We Tend to Add the Most Value
Businesses with an existing offer that already sells to someone, a website that can take an enquiry, and a person who follows up on leads within a day. If there is demand in search or a clear audience on social, we can usually find it and cost it.
We are also a good fit when several vendors have produced activity reports nobody can connect to revenue, and you want one team and one number instead.
Poor Fit
Where We Will Tell You Not to Start
A product with no proven buyer yet, a budget too small for the competition in your category, or a business with nobody available to answer enquiries. Marketing amplifies what exists — it cannot create a follow-up process you do not have.
If your category is legally restricted from advertising on the major platforms, we will say so in the review rather than bill you to discover it.
Questions About Your Industry
My industry is not on this list. Can you still help?
Usually yes. The method does not change by sector: find where demand already exists, capture it, and measure what each enquiry costs. What changes is the channel we start with and the buying cycle we plan around. If we do not think we can help, we will say so during the free review rather than take the retainer.
Do you work with businesses outside the big metros?
Yes. Everything is delivered remotely over calls, email and WhatsApp, and we work with businesses anywhere in India. Tier 2 and tier 3 markets are often cheaper to advertise in and far less contested in search, which usually works in your favour.
Can you run campaigns in regional languages?
We plan and run campaigns in English and Hindi directly, and for other regional languages we work with your team or a translator so the wording reads as native rather than machine translated. Copy written in the language your customer actually searches in almost always performs better.
Healthcare and finance have advertising restrictions. Can you work inside them?
Yes, and the restrictions shape the plan rather than being worked around. Google and Meta limit health claims, outcome promises and personalised targeting for sensitive categories, so those accounts lean on local search, reviews, and educational content instead. We keep copy inside platform policy and the relevant Indian advertising rules, and we flag anything that needs your own compliance sign-off before it goes live.
Will you run campaigns for two competing businesses in the same city?
No. While an engagement is live we will not take on a directly competing business in the same catchment, because we would be bidding your budget against itself. If a conflict exists we will tell you before quoting.
Do you need us to already have marketing running before you start?
No. Plenty of the businesses we work with are starting from a website, a phone number, and nothing measurable. Starting clean is often easier than untangling an account that has been running without conversion tracking for two years.
Tell Us What You Sell and Who Buys It
We will come back with the channel we would start in, what it is likely to cost, and what we would measure — specific to your sector, not a generic proposal.
